Carly & Jake have a love story like no other.  They met on Carly’s first day of college orientation and it has been true love ever since.  After almost 10 years later, a move across the country and a few life challenges, they were able to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family at Emerson Creek Pottery & Tea Room in Oswego IL.

Carly is a dear friend of mine and has been for years.  Her and Jake have a beautiful, unconditional love that is infectious when you’re able to spend time with them.   Celebrating their wedding was a complete honor and wish we could do it all over again!!

Carly’s “Something Borrowed” was her sisters accessories from her wedding.  She purchased her earrings, bracelet and veil at The Crystal Bride as well.

Carly wore an Essense of Australia gown with ivory lace and moscato lining.  Her off the shoulder, aline gown was unlined through the bodice and gave her that sexy, casual feel she always wanted.

Carly and her sister Mallory have always been as close as can be.  She opted against a big bridal party and asked her most important person to stand by her side.

#SiblingGoals

Carly and Jake had a very special display of those who couldn’t be there to celebrate with them. It was an absolute beautiful tribute that brought tears to my eyes.  Carly’s dad, Tom, would have been so happy to see Carly’s genuine smile throughout her big day.

The always beautiful Lopatkiewicz girls.

Jake & Carly are always having the most fun together.

She even looks stunning when she leaves!!

Carly’s gorgeous train was a dream on the dance floor.  It literally danced across the floor all night long.

After over two decades of friendship, we both managed to landed the men of our dreams.  <3

Congratulations Carly & Jake! You guys are true friends and wish we could see you more often.

Thank you for sharing in your big day with us.  We love you both so much!!!

Meagan came to us with her bridal vision wanting a classic, elegant style with a twist; and that is exactly what she ended up with.

Notice how she incorporated the infinity sign in her jewelry. LOVE!!

This Essense of Australia a-line wedding dress is the perfect combination of beaded lace and a clean, elegant top.

She cut the train off which allowed for the perfect twirling photos her photographer caught!

Such sweet tender moments were caught!!

Meagan’s back is a complete show stopper!!

Beautiful details!

Meagan’s bridesmaids dresses were from The Crystal Bride as well – She chose a classic Navy from Bill Levkoff

This picture gives us all the feels!!

Yay! Congrats to the newly weds!!

Her twirls were PERFECT!!

Looks like such a fun time! We wish you both all the best as you take on married life! Congratulations!!!!

Amy first came to us very nervous about shopping for her dress.  “I was super nervous about wedding dress shopping because I was afraid I wouldn’t find a dress that I loved or made me feel confident.” -Amy

She had found this gorgeous Wtoo gown, Agatha, online and called to make sure we had it at The Crystal Bride before making her appointment.  We tried the dress on and it was love at first sight!

“I knew it was the one instantly. It was beautiful and it fit my body perfectly. It made me feel confident and beautiful but it was also very comfortable and I knew I could wear it all day and dance all night long. Kayla did an amazing job finding me the perfect belt to add just a touch of bling.”

She added perfect little touches like this sentimental “something blue” – a piece of her fathers shirt.

“They also added a patch of my dad’s shirt into my dress because he passed away soon after we got engaged and wouldn’t be there with us. It was so special to me to have a part of my dad with me on my wedding day.”

They even had a perfectly fitting theme to their nuptials.

“We had a “tie the knot” theme incorporated into our wedding including a knot tying during our ceremony where we tied a fisherman’s knot to represent our lives joining together in marriage and like the knot we will only grow stronger under pressure. “

Amy & Tyler were married at the beautiful Mckray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington IL. The couple couldn’t have had nicer things to say about their experience!

We truly enjoyed working with Amy and loved all the personal touches she added to her big day.  She was always kind and calm. Working with her was an absolute pleasure and wish we could do it all over again!

Congratulations Amy & Tyler! We wish you both all the best in your marriage and all that comes with it.  Your happiness shines through in these photos and we can’t thank you enough for sharing!

Cheers!!
